Key West Florida Hotel Room: The Truman Room

President Truman enjoyed visiting the Ramos family during his frequent walks around the island. On one such occasion it seems he managed to slip out without his usual secret service chaperones—causing them quite a scare. When they showed up at the front door of the Southernmost House, exclaiming that they had "lost" the President for a brief period of time, they were relieved to find that the President was safe, simply spending some time relaxing with friends in the parlor. The Truman Room, in his honor, is located on the second floor of the mansion, boasting incredible pool and ocean views, a large balcony overlooking the ocean and a queen bed.
